The event is held in early July each year.

I went to the Calgary stampede when I was around 10 and thought is was a riot. Now as I'm making a road trip with my dog across North America I've been wanting to find motels in Calgary that are reasonably priced and allow pets. It too cold to camp in Canada!

Do you know if they have any rooms like the Ottawa suites I've heard so much about? How far is Ottawa from Calgary anyway?

I heat that they have good dedicated hosting. Is that true? A friend stayed there and really liked the service.
